Located near the UN, 3 Dag is a commercial co-op building filled with Consulates and International Institutions. It’s oddly shaped, stained oak, and sawtooth smoked mirror walls lobby was out of context with its tenants. The updated lobby with its acid etched glass covers the sawtooth and makes a single bold directional statement. The other walls are clad in raked limestone, bluestone type flooring, and sanded stainless steel column enclosures. Back lighting and coves are set up throughout to lighten up the existing elements. Overall the glass wall creates a signature statement from the street while honestly ushering all to the elevators beyond the lobby.
