This 7750 sf, two-family duplex, and triplex, Owner occupied development is located in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn NY.

The other facades along Quincy Street are all flat. We wanted to change that and do so in reference to the other historically articulated brownstones in Brooklyn.

The new facade starts straight, aligning with the street but then pivots out, letting light leak in and providing alternative, non-orthogonal views from inside. Like gills on a fish, the facade opens up inside and to the street—a new interpretation of the bay window.
